Chamber ensemble formed in 2006, when their musical activities combined in Szczecin Department of I.J. Paderewski Academy of Poznań, as they cooperate in viola class. Their aim is to promote less known or undiscovered viola and piano music, especially writeen in classical viennese style, from romantic period and from the beginning of XX century.
In march 2015 she earned a doctorate in music from the Gdansk Music Academy.
Urszula Świętosława Szyryńska, a concert pianist, chamber player and teacher. She was born in the region of Suwałki, whose natural beauty left an indelible mark on her artistic soul. After graduating from the First Degree School of Music in Augustów, she continued her education at the Feliks Nowowiejski Comprehensive School of Music in Gdańsk. She completed her studies at the Szczecin branch of Poznań Academy of Music in the piano class of Prof. Bogusław Rottermund and postgraduate studies with a specialisation in piano chamber music at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the piano class of Prof. Barbara Halska. As a woman always curious of life and constantly seeking creative inspirations for her teaching and concert careers, Szyryńska specialised in visual impairment teaching at the University of Szczecin and completed postgraduate managerial studies for creative artists and culture organisers at the Department of Management of Warsaw University. In her artistic portfolio Szyryńska holds numerous world premieres of chamber music works. She has made archival radio and television recordings for national and regional broadcasting companies. She has taken part in a host of music festivals, including the Second Krzysztof Penderecki Contemporary Music Competition in Kraków, Chamber Music Festival in Caltanisetta in Sicily or World Saxophone Congress XIII - Minneapolis University of Minneapolis - USA. She was a prizewinner in the cycle of Austrian music named after Bronisław Huberman in Warsaw. Apart from her busy concert schedule, Szyryńska is very successful as a teacher. Her students have participated in numerous piano competitions winning top rankings. Szyryńska received the Witold Hulewicz prize for her work with blind young musical artists in Warsaw in 2005. She worked in Poznań Academy of Music Szczecin branch and currently is employed by Academy of Arts in Szczecin.
In December 2009 together with Marcin Murawski has realised a CD with J.N. Hummel viola works with piano and orchestra - "Johann Nepomuk Hummel - works for viola"
